A little-known part of the cable industry that was largely overlooked until the advent of wireless charging has become the primary tool in the charging process for the NFL.
It’s the battery that helps power the stadiums computers and the team’s video cameras, and now the league is asking people to plug it into the wall.
In a press release, the league said it has installed the battery into a wall that connects the locker rooms to the stadium’s main power distribution line.
The battery was also added to a utility pole to help keep the lights on at night.
The battery was installed by the league on the first day of training camp in August.
It has been installed on a few other stadiums as well, including Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara and the Oakland Coliseum.
The Chargers have already installed the charging station on their stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
The Chargers have had the battery for a year.
